Position: Credit Analyst I Intern (Summer 2025)

Organizational Location: Atlanta, GA

What The Role Is:

Introduces students to the carious processes involved in underwriting and servicing commercial loans. Mentoring relationships with Cadence Leaders. "Meet & Greets" featuring guest speakers and team-building activates provide important engagement opportunities white simultaneously allowing participants to make valuable contributions to the bank and the communities we service. This is an On-Site Position.



  • Participate in credit underwriting training including readings, exercises, and review sessions.
  • Participate in business skills training including review sessions, exercises and presentations.
  • Participate in question and answer sessions with Senior Loan Committee including reviewing credit packages ahead of time.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • The program runs from June 5--July 28, 2025.
  • Positions are available in Atlanta, GA and Houston, TX


Required Skills:



  • 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Plan to take a minimum of 9 hours of accounting including intermediate before graduation.
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership though extracurricular activates and internship/work experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency using Microsoft Office applications to include Word and Excel, as well as other database applications systems.


Education:



  • Pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with one year or less before graduation.
