Systems Engineer

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver reports, briefings, and placemats in various formats using input from staff leads and project teams.
• Maintain up-to-date project briefings and related materials.
• Coordinate and support a variety of meetings, including technical exchanges, kickoffs, cross-team collaborations, and ad hoc sessions.
• Create and present PowerPoint briefings at weekly division meetings and monthly program management reviews as required.
• Provide project management support, including strategic planning and roadmap development.
• Compile and synthesize both empirical and statistical data to support program management and internal communications.
• Analyze compiled data and produce concise summaries and detailed reports as needed.
• Manage organizational data calls by coordinating across teams and reporting to leadership.
• Support staff leads in account setup processes and in submitting and tracking tickets through Sponsor systems.

• Collaborating with highly technical and senior personnel.
• Delivering professional briefings to diverse audiences.
• Optimizing and improving business workflows.
• Writing, editing, and using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Creating detailed reports and presentation materials.
• Planning and facilitating technical exchange meetings.
• Organizing and managing meetings at leadership levels.
• Collecting data and producing metrics related to system and application usage.
• Managing issues, knowledge bases, and IT service requests.
• Using project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow, including incident monitoring and reporting.
• Applying JIRA methodologies (Stories, Epics, Initiatives).
• Working independently and collaboratively with minimal oversight.
• Communicating effectively-verbally and in writing-across various formats, such as reports, memos, meeting minutes, point papers, briefings, and ad hoc communications to ensure successful project execution.

• Strong relationship management and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with the Sponsor's system accreditation workflows and tools.
• Experience working with Sponsor mission systems and applications.
• Knowledge of data science and data engineering tools and methodologies.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
