You Will

Be introduced to multiple skilled carpentry and concrete construction positions and learn how to construct various building components through hands-on learning and completing classroom instructions. The Carpentry Development Program offers candidates the skills that are required to become a craftsperson in the construction industry.

The Carpentry Development Program has limited openings.

Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Use various hand and power tools.
  • Attend classroom and hands-on trainings.
  • Operates power tools and equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience/exposure in carpentry or concrete is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
  • Must be capable of receiving and following instructions
  • Ability to communicate and build professional relationships with co-workers and upper management
  • Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Punctuality and dependability are required
