Job Summary:

As A SDM Supporter, you will carry out the duties of a client support for Supported Decision-Making clients. You will also review powers of Guardianship, if appropriate, to assist clients' understanding and identifying opportunities to restore rights.

Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in human services or other relevant field or two years of experience in a closely related field with similar clients and similar decision-making capacity.
  • Valid driver's license and DHS/BCA background check.
  • Extreme detail attention to communications, accurate and timely documentation, and billings.
  • Clear and unbiased thinking and ability to support clients' desires as long as they are legal and do not cause harm.
  • Assessment skills.
  • Able to recognize dangerous situations (for client and for self).
  • Comfort with ambiguity.
