Job Summary:

As a Housekeeper, you will help keep the camp's physical plant, grounds, and equipment clean and safe for campers, staff, volunteers, and other guests to use and enjoy.

You will be responsible for the following:



  • Cleaning camp buildings as directed, including bathrooms, kitchen areas, etc.
  • Proper usage/storage of cleaning agents.
  • Hauling trash/recycling to appropriate removal places.
  • Cleaning glass / windows inside and out as directed.
  • Vacuuming, scrubbing, sweeping of the buildings inside and out where appropriate.
  • Communicate facility issues / supply needs to facility coordinator.
  • Assist with laundering of linens as needed.
  • Assist with "deep cleaning" of buildings when requested.
  • Attend facility / staff meetings when requested.
  • Must be a good role model for our campers in your attitude and behavior, by following and upholding all safety and security rules, policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Communicate and cooperate with all staff and volunteers.


Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Ability to relate to youth and adults in a positive manner.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skill in assigned job duties under training, guidance, and supervision of Maintenance Director.
  • Driver's license is preferred.
