Do you love performing functional testing on assemblies? Join our Quality Team The Safety Valve Assembler's primary role is repairing safety relief valves to National Board VR Code, and to test safety valves with air, water, & steam. Partner with the best As a Safety Valve Assembler, you will assemble complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material. Performs functional testing on assemblies. Tests assemblies per customer and/or division criteria. Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools. Performs torquing of various components. Distributes quality notifications (qn's). As a Safety Valve Assembler, you will be responsible for: Repairing safety relief valves to National Board VR Code Testing safety valves with air, water, & steam Reading and interpret manufacturers drawings and spring charts Understanding of Steam boiler operating and testing Applying measurement & math skills to verify critical dimensions Performing machine and hand lapping of nozzles and discs Performing valve write-up Understanding the Pressure and leak test valves to National Board, API, and ASME standards Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will require: Have a High School Diploma or higher 1+ Years experience with the Assembly of Safety Valves is preferred Experience working with Dial Calipers Experience working with Micrometers Experience working with Consolidated products a plus Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
