We are currently accepting applications for a Junior Technician in our new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Milton, WI, conveniently located north of Janesville. Pay range is $24.00-$34.00/hr on DAYS and $27.00-$37.00/hr on NIGHTS. These are full-time positions working days or nights. Day shift works from 4:55am-5:25pm, 3-4 days per week. Day shift schedule is; Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat; Week 2: Sun, Wed, Thurs]. Night shift works 4:55pm-5:25am, 3-4 days per week. Night shift is either on crew 1 or 2. [Crew 1] Sun-Tues, every other Sat, or [Crew 2] Wed-Fri, every other Sat. Additional OT may be required. Candidates will train at our Watertown facility for ~6 months and eventually transfer to Milton. To compensate for the additional commute to Watertown, employees will receive $50 per scheduled workday if their additional commute is less than 30 miles, or $100 per scheduled workday if their additional commute is greater than 30 miles. This income is taxable and paid at straight time.** Because you're only working 3-4 days per week, you have more full days off for hobbies and time with friends and family. Also, there is 8-hours of built-in overtime during your 4-day workweek. Last, if you want to volunteer for an extra workday and its available, it is paid at double-time. BENEFITS:
JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of a Junior Technician is to read and understand coating recipes, produce bulk and finished coating in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) procedures, and safety procedures and also display competency in material handling. The Junior Technician must also possess a great deal of flexibility in their ability to multi-task and maintain a team attitude in all actions taken.
