Finance Manager - Corporate Finance, UHG FP&A

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Prepare executive-level presentation materials (primarily focused on quarterly earnings, Board meetings and the annual investor conference)
  • Produce financial reporting and analytics to support decision making
  • Assist with financial modeling including the quarterly forecast (2-year outlook) as well as the 5-year plan, present results to leadership
  • Prepare financial sensitivity analyses
  • Interface with business leaders and build relationships in support of financial planning and performance measurement including reporting and analysis
  • Perform monthly close analysis to facilitate understanding of monthly results against the financial plan; Produce monthly financial summaries for the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in conjunction with budgeting and forecasting process; Consolidate financials across the enterprise
  • Help leadership with ad-hoc requests
  • Leverage technology and conduct process improvement activities

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • 5+ years of experience in finance
  • Progressive financial work experience
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology tools
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas
  • In office at least 3 days per week (Eden Prairie, MN)



Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA
  • Healthcare experience
  • Hyperion Essbase experience
  • Process improvement experience
