Work Schedule:

100% FTE, days. This is a hybrid role. When in person you will work at the East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pay:



  • This position may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Working as an independent healthcare provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team.

We are seeking a Health Psychologist to:



  • Provide clinical services to adult outpatients focused on addressing behavioral and lifestyle changes that assist with weight management.
  • Conduct bariatric presurgical psychological evaluations, individual follow-up health psychology sessions, and facilitate group medical visits with program dietitians and advanced practice providers.
  • Receive referrals from and collaborate with medical providers within the Medical and Surgical Weight Management program, including bariatricians and surgeons.
  • Consult with our multi-disciplinary bariatric team concerning surgical candidates and post-operative patients.

Education:

Minimum - Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or related field

Work Experience:

Minnimum - One (1) year of post-doc experience in the area of Behavioral Health in a medical setting

Preferred - One (1) year of clinical experience or two (2) years of post-doctoral experience in the area of Health Psychology in a medical setting

Certifications:

Minimum -



  • Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice
  • CPR/BLS
