Purpose of Role: Create and sustain connections with prospective students and their families through in-person and virtual connections.

Duties and Responsibilities: A CIM Ambassador serves as a student representative for CIM. This role is essential to recruiting CIM's next incoming class. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Assist in managing the tour experience and give tours to prospective students.
  • Track prospective students and enter relevant data in Slate.
  • Support Admission, Preparatory, and Marketing recruitment efforts by providing student perspective for communications.
  • Assist in CIM Audition Day preparation and execution by making materials for auditioning students, set up and tear down, and monitoring rooms.
  • Assist in answering emails and phone calls for the Admission Office and Preparatory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Rates of Pay: $12.00/hr

General Qualifications: A CIM Ambassador must be personable, outgoing, and energetic with a readiness to assist prospective students. Ambassadors must demonstrate positivity and a passion for CIM. During tours, they must be able to make conversation and think on their feet while maintaining a professional demeanor. Training is provided by the Admission Staff, Lead Ambassador, and experienced colleagues. Other important qualities are highly organized, efficient, solution-focused, and willing to be productive will little supervision. Some computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Length of Employment: 8/26/24 to 5/8/25, or the date a student has earned their full WS award, or is no longer enrolled full time, whichever comes first.

Schedule: Students will be able to work as much or as little as they choose depending on their availability and desire to work. Ambassadors must be available for at least one tour slot per week. Tours take place Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 2pm, and Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30am. Students will send schedules ahead of time and the Admission Office will determine work schedules based on a student's preference. Ambassadors must work at least two shifts during the Audition Days in February.

Evaluation Procedures: The Admissions Office will evaluate work performance on a case-by-case basis.
