Description
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) seeks to hire a Licensing Specialist I, reporting to the Licensing Manager, to process licensure and registration applications. The Division works in conjunction with the Commission's Investigation and Enforcement Bureau to issue licenses and registrations. The role requires advanced organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to customer service. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Experience, Education, and Training:
Salary is commensurate with experience. The successful candidate must pass an extensive background check that includes a full credit check, CORI, drug screen, income tax transcript review, professional references, and fingerprinting. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is responsible for the implementation of the expanded gaming law (Chapter 194 of the Acts of 2011). Under the law, the Commission is tasked with establishing a regulatory framework for the solicitation, licensing, taxation, and oversight of a maximum of three casino licenses and one slots parlor license in Massachusetts.
