CDL Container Delivery Driver

LeMay Pierce County Refuse has an immediate opening for aContainer Delivery Driverat ourFrederickson, WAlocation. The position will be responsible for driving a Crane Truck on specified routes to pick up and deliver recycling and garbage containers to new and existing customers at 15 - 35 stops per day. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk, consistent pace, and occasional bending. This position will also be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers.

This is a day-shift position, and a CDL is required. This is the perfect opportunity for someone fresh out of CDL school who wants to get some experience driving. This entry-level driving job will open doors to other CDL positions as they become available.

Pay and Schedule:

• Starting wages will be $35.00 to $35.50 per hour.
• This is a Monday - Friday position and the occasional Saturday.Starting time of 6:00 AM.

• Read, write, and comprehend reports well enough to complete daily assignments.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Minimum Previous experience driving at least a 16 ft. box truck.
• Must have a minimum of two years of truck driving experience.
• Must be available to start work early in the morning and work until route completion.
• Ability to do a physically demanding job up to 10 hours per day.
• Safety Sensitive: Yes.
