SCOPE OF POSITION: The Youth Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for the active discipleship of youth in the corps through Sunday School, weekly youth programming, and other Salvation Army events. They will also be responsible for outreach to youth in the community through the after-school program, summer day camp, and other various outreach opportunities. They will work with the Corps Officer and other ministry staff to ensure that we as a ministry team are meeting the needs of all our church members, as well as reaching out to the community. This position, alongside the Corps Officer, will be responsible for recruiting, training, and equipping volunteers to support the Youth Ministries of the Yakima Corps.
