Position description

The Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers to teach undergraduate or graduate Computer Science courses. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed.

The number of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department. Positions may range from one quarter to one year with the possibility of reappointment depending on performance and further departmental need. Positions may range from 33% to 100% time. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and any appropriate collective bargaining agreement. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred qualifications

Applicants who have a PhD in Computer Science or related field, at least one year of teaching experience, and show a strong commitment of contributing to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching.
