Position title: Emergency Medicine Faculty Physicians Salary range:
The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $82,200 - $235,400. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. The Department currently operates three Emergency Departments with a combined census of nearly 150,000 patients annually (including level 1 trauma center) with a robust residency training program and subspecialty divisions in Toxicology, Hyperbarics, EMS, Emergency Critical Care, and Pediatric EM, with robust extramural research funding and serves as an NIH SIREN site. The Department provides excellent opportunities for clinical service, teaching, and research at one of the nation's top-ranked Medical Schools and one of the most academically productive Emergency Departments in the country. The selected candidates will be responsible for providing high quality training and teaching to medical students, residents and fellows. In addition the selected candidates will be responsible for the clinical care of patients and/or research. The appropriate series and appointment will be based on the candidate's background and experience. Candidates must have a MD, DO or equivalent. Candidates must be Board eligible or Board certified in Emergency Medicine. Candidates must also have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Preferred qualifications
Candidates with experience in hyperbaric medicine, toxicology, ultrasound, critical care, informatics, emergency medical services (EMS), or international emergency medicine is preferred. Application Requirements Document requirements
