SVP & SAD Manager is responsible for managing the special assets portfolio and the team with a focus on the mitigation of losses for the Bank. Responsibilities include analyzing financial plans, negotiating loan collection, or restructuring, and recommending/overseeing litigation, liquidation, or charge-off of loans.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in banking and five in a management position.
  • Strong sales and persuasive written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image.
  • Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of all aspects of financial statements, including cash flow and commercial business activities.
  • Good knowledge of lending regulations, lien laws, and loan documentation.
  • General knowledge of deposit regulations and new account documentation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Communication Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, employees, regulators, or board members.
  • Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.

Computer Skills

  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.

Reasoning Skills

  • Excellent analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to retain a broad knowledge of tasks performed in the lending functions.

Management Skills

  • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior.
  • Organizational ability with strong supervisory and management skills.
  • Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in the work environment.
