Panorama's Aquatic and Fitness Center is searching for a qualified Lifeguard to work part-time and year-round! This position will work approximately 8-12 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to be part of team involved in protecting the safety and well-being of each Panorama resident while providing courteous, friendly and professional assistance. Our lifeguards maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Protect the safety of Panorama residents and guest by using the Ellis or American Red Cross Lifeguarding guidelines Apply all rules and regulations consistently Coordinate emergency procedures and/or provide First Aid and CPR in emergency situations Maintain positive relations and rapport with residents Perform general maintenance/custodial functions as required Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid required. Ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness. Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency Current Ellis or American Red Cross Shallow Water Lifeguard Training Certification preferred (willing to reimburse for training)
