Marketing Equipment Shop Technician - COR

Essential Functions

• Required to troubleshoot and perform internal/external and cosmetic repairs on vending machines and visa coolers or any other equipment in which we are refurbishing.
• Required to test, vend, and operate all equipment to ensure it operates properly and is in "like new" condition.
• Required to determine needed parts and potentially pull parts from the parts room and have them accessible and ready by the machines for the repair/reman process.
• Required to use Maintenance Connection program through electronic devices to perform work orders in the system for tracking and validation.
• Required to conduct monthly toolbox inventory counts.
• Must consistently communicate with CME Management on daily issues affecting productivity and opportunities to improve.
• Expectation is to continuously develop in the Service Technician role with goal of achieving Tech Level 2 and then Tech Level 3 status.
• Required to visually inspect all equipment to ensure that it will pass all cosmetic quality assurance standards.
• Required to follow all Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to the remanufacturing of equipment while working in a safe and productive manner.
• Required to use hand tools, OHM meter, saws, and drills to repair assigned machines.
• Must be cross trained in all areas of the Tech Shop to work where needed to meet production demands.
• May be required to wash, sand, install decals and prep equipment for painting when the workload requires help at management's discretion.
• May be required to work weekends and/or overtime if needed to meet customer demand.
• May be required to work outside of immediate department in order to meet production demands.
• Required to complete other activities/duties as assigned, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, banding equipment, emptying trash, recycling cardboard/metal.
