Now Hiring: Quality Engineer Location: Dearborn, MI Pay Rate: $31.96/hour Schedule: Fully On-Site Are you a problem-solver who enjoys digging into data, identifying root causes, and improving product reliability? We're seeking a Quality Engineer to support advanced engineering and quality initiatives focused on engine, thermal, and powertrain systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-visibility projects that improve product performance, reduce warranty costs, and enhance long-term reliability. Job Duties Analyze warranty, testing, and quality data to identify trends and performance concerns. Lead and support root cause investigations for engine and thermal system issues. Develop and validate corrective actions through component, system, and vehicle-level testing. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and technical teams to improve repair strategies and product performance. Create presentations and reports for project updates and recommendations. Document lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in cross-functional problem-solving and quality improvement projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 6+ months of project leadership experience. 6+ months of experience with internal combustion engines, thermal systems, after-treatment systems, design, testing, controls, or calibration. Strong skills in data analysis, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and problem-solving. Experience with quality methodologies, statistics, Python, dashboards, Six Sigma, or large datasets is a plus.
