Job Duties

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms throughout the facility.
• Maintain breakrooms, cafeterias, and common areas between employee shifts.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout offices and production areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in designated workspaces.
• Respond to spills and housekeeping requests in a timely manner.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and submit reorder requests as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and PPE requirements.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace for employees and visitors.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely use common cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently while following cleaning schedules and established procedures.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Dependable work habits and a commitment to maintaining clean, professional facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial facility is a plus.
• Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Janitorial Associate.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
