Machine Operator

Position Summary

Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

*Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools and, CNC machines and Cam driven Bar Machines.
*Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
*Change offsets on CNC Machines.
*Read and understand blueprints.
*Utilize precision instrumentation and gages to verify product quality and integrity.
*Move completed parts per standard work processes.
*Complete appropriate documentation to track production and quality outputs.
*Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
*All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

Qualifications

*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Minimum of six months of on-site training as a machine operator or 3 years of related work experience as a machinist
