Job Duties

• Manage inventory within the maintenance storeroom and production areas.
• Order, receive, and stock maintenance parts and materials.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Kit parts and supplies for maintenance work orders.
• Track inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Utilize inventory management software and computer systems to record transactions.
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support maintenance and production teams by providing required parts and materials.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with additional inventory and warehouse functions as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years of inventory control, warehouse management, or storeroom experience required.
• Experience with inventory management systems and computerized tracking programs.
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with cycle counting, receiving, stocking, and inventory accuracy preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Inventory Clerk.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Comfortable working in production environments with exposure to noise.
• Ability to work in -temperature areas below 40F.
• Ability to safely use ladders and access storage locations as needed.
• Operating in cold room environments is frequent.
