Assist with line start-up and shutdown according to procedures. Assist with set-up styles, including necessary adjustments, by use of set-up sheets/guidelines. Develop, monitor, and maintain input reports; check quality at the start of the shift and ensure quality of product throughout the shift. Maintain a clean line, adhere to all plant safety, quality, and attendance policies. Maintain communication as necessary with shift supervisor and lead operator to ensure acceptable quality, efficiencies, and material utilization. Demonstrate team building and dedication. Follow detailed procedures to operate moving machinery. Experience/Skills: Manufacturing experience required Regular, punctual attendance required Basic computer skills required - must be able to use computer for data collection Basic mechanical skills preferred Forklift experience helpful Basic mathematical skills Read and comprehend English Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to bend, squat, twist, push, pull, & reach above shoulder height Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Effective communication skills All applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, background check and drug screen 8 Hour Schedules: 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm 3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am 12 Hour Schedules: Day Shift 7:00am - 7:00pm Night Shift 7:00pm - 7:00am Work only 15 days a month (not including overtime)!
