Position Title: Fabrication Brake / Saw
Wage: $26.00-$30.00/hour We're hiring for a Fabrication Brake / Saw role for a company in Milwaukee, WI. Fabrication Brake / Saw Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate an automated Brake- Band saw to cut structural metal per cut sheet specifications - Maintain steel inventory in an organized and efficient manner - Properly identify materials such as sheet, plate, channel, tube, and flat bar, including thickness, width, and gauge - Handle various materials, including mild steel, aluminum, brass, tool steel, and cast iron - Read and interpret basic measurements using a tape measure within 1/16-inch accuracy - Assist with loading and unloading material deliveries using a forklift - Put away materials and components for storage and use in production - Prepare and verify orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness - Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to company safety and quality standards Fabrication Brake / Saw Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Basic math and measurement skills - Ability to lift 50-70 pounds - Ability to follow directions, ask questions, and learn from supervisors and co-workers - Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification IND159 | |
