A well-known national retail brand is looking for an Adobe Workfront expert to help them get the most out of a platform they already have. The team has used Workfront for years and recently added Workfront Planning. They know what they want it to do, but they've hit the technical wall of connecting everything.

You'll come in, build out their planning structure, connect 400+ active projects into one clear view, and teach the team how to maintain it on their own. The goal is simple: when leadership wants to see how a big seasonal moment like Holiday or Valentine's Day is tracking, they click once and see what's on time, what's late, and what needs attention, from social media all the way to packaging kickoff.

This isn't a strategy or consulting role. They need someone who has done this before and can get hands-on right away.

What You'll Do

  • Build the hierarchy in Workfront Planning that connects individual projects up to programs, goals, and overarching seasonal and promotional campaigns
  • Map and plug 400+ active projects into the new structure so each one rolls up correctly
  • Design rollup views and dashboards that give leadership a simple read on campaign status (on time, at risk, late)
  • Lead working sessions with the team to agree on naming conventions, taxonomy, and record types (assets, deliverables, campaigns, and so on)
  • Handle the backend configuration, including custom forms, record types, connected fields, and the logic that ties it all together
  • Build the 2027 planning framework, with an eye toward 2028, since some workstreams like packaging run 53+ weeks out
  • Train the team and explain the "why" behind the setup so they can maintain and repeat it every year
  • Point out where the team is underusing Workfront and recommend quick wins

What You Bring

  • Deep hands-on experience with Adobe Workfront, including backend configuration and administration
  • Direct experience with Workfront Planning, or similar large-scale project mapping and portfolio rollup work
  • A track record of building connected project structures across many teams and hundreds of projects
  • Strong workflow and process mapping skills
  • The ability to explain technical setup in plain language to non-technical users
  • Comfort working quickly and independently with a team that's ready to go

Nice to Have

  • Adobe Workfront certification (Core Developer, Program Architect, Fusion, or Planning)
  • Retail, CPG, or marketing operations background, especially seasonal or promotional calendars
  • Experience presenting to leadership and gathering cross-team feedback

Good to Know

  • Candidates will complete a Workfront skill assessment as part of the process
  • Fully remote, no on-site requirement
  • Aquent offers benefits to eligible contractors, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Details at aquent.com.
