Assembly Supervisor - Direct Hire

Beverly, MA | $35-$38/Hour | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

We're seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to oversee daily assembly operations, drive schedule attainment, and develop team members in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily assembly operations to ensure production schedules and customer delivery requirements are met.
• Supervise, coach, and develop up to 20 employees, including group leaders and assembly personnel.
• Improve productivity, product quality, workflow efficiency, and lead times.
• Coordinate staffing and work assignments to maximize operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, housekeeping, and manufacturing standards.
• Train employees on assembly processes, equipment operation, and production best practices.
• Conduct performance reviews and support employee development initiatives.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and reduce waste.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to monitor production activities and support operational goals.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong experience with ERP or MRP systems and shop floor production processes.
• Proven leadership, coaching, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience driving productivity, quality, and process improvements.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• IPC-610, J-STD, and IPC-620 certification or experience preferred.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
