Business Systems Intern

Mansfield Service Partners is searching for an Business Systems Intern for our 2027 Summer Internship Program in Houston, TX.

The goal of the Business Systems Internship is to provide the intern with hands-on experience supporting and improving business systems that drive daily operations across Mansfield Service Partners. The intern will gain exposure to system administration, data management, process improvement, and cross-functional business operations while working closely with teams throughout the organization.

The internship will include training and exposure to enterprise systems and business processes, with a primary focus on a Business Systems improvement project aligned with the intern's academic background and technical interests.

Daily Tasks:

• Cleanse SLX and PDI system setups to ensure data accuracy. Document and map data sources and data flows.
• Shadow users across departments to understand their processes and create training guides for recurring roles, such as dispatchers, billers, and collectors.
• Develop a troubleshooting guide for common system issues and document the appropriate point of contact by issue type.
• Assist in identifying key issues and opportunities within current process flows that could be added to the roadmap to better support users and customers.

Main Project Summary:

Based on the intern's academic focus and technical skill set, they will own a defined Business Systems improvement project. Potential projects could include developing standardized role-based system configurations and permissions, analyzing data quality issues and recommending preventative controls, identifying opportunities for process automation, or developing/testing a routing optimization solution. The project should result in a tangible improvement, analysis, or tool.

Mansfield's summer internship is a full-time, paid role running May 24-August 6, 2027. Candidates must be able to work onsite, fully in office, in Houston, TX for the entire duration of the program.
