Job Duties Set up and operate CNC cutting and router machines according to project specifications. Install tooling, fixtures, blades, and machine components. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, layouts, and technical drawings. Make machine adjustments and offsets to maintain precision and production efficiency. Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools and quality standards. Monitor machine performance and production output. Perform preventative maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment concerns. Complete production, maintenance, material usage, and inventory documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing goals. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Technical school, machining certificate, or CNC programming education preferred. Experience Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of CNC cutting, CNC router, or CNC machine operation experience. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues. Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools. Ability to interpret dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T preferred. Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with production teams. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and movement throughout the workday. Ability to use hands, arms, and fingers to operate machinery and computer systems. Close visual acuity required for reading measurements, inspecting materials, and monitoring equipment. Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing required eye and hearing protection.
