The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Commercial Photo Retoucher to bring their expertise to our client's visual content team. In this role, you will be the guardian of visual perfection, transforming raw images into stunning, commercially ready assets. Your keen eye for detail and advanced technical skills will ensure that every product and model photograph not only looks flawless but also accurately represents the product's true color, texture, and dimensionality. You'll be instrumental in crafting compelling imagery that captivates audiences and upholds the brand's reputation for excellence.

What You'll Do

• Execute high-end product and model photography retouching to achieve a clean, polished commercial finish.
• Masterfully remove dust, scratches, wrinkles, distracting imperfections, and unwanted production elements from images.
• Precisely eliminate visible background lights, flats, and other extraneous elements from original shoots.
• Skillfully extend, reconstruct, and clean backgrounds to create seamless and professional compositions.
• Retouch product details, such as bags, while meticulously preserving realistic texture, shape, and dimensionality.
• Perform natural model cleanup, ensuring a refined appearance without excessive retouching.
• Create precise and clean masks for individual product components, including logos, zippers, hardware, straps, and separate color sections.
• Accurately color-correct products to closely match supplied reference images, maintaining natural lighting and a realistic product appearance.
• Maintain organized, clearly labeled, and layered working files with masks intact for efficient collaboration and future adjustments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in commercial photo retouching, with a strong portfolio showcasing product photography expertise.
• Exceptional skills in image cleanup, object removal, and background reconstruction.
• Advanced proficiency in masking and selection techniques for intricate product components.
• Expertise in color correction and the ability to achieve accurate color matching to visual references.
• Proven ability to maintain realistic textures, natural lighting, and product dimensionality in all retouches.
• Unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to delivering commercial imagery of the highest quality.
• Capability to deliver clean, organized, and editable working files with clearly labeled layers.
