Position Summary:

As a Recruitment Specialist at Acara Solutions, you'll step into a dynamic role that combines recruiting, customer service, and relationship building. This position will primarily support our Plattsburgh-area clients and will be remote, but candidates must be local to the Plattsburgh, NY area to allow for regular onsite visits with hiring managers.

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, supporting contract employees, and leading recruitment efforts for contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent positions. You'll also visit client locations to meet with managers, develop strong working relationships, and gain a better understanding of their hiring needs and workplace environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Receive and vet job orders, securing approval from management to source, screen, interview, and present candidates to clients for consideration.
* Exercise independent judgment and strong interviewing skills to match candidates with suitable placements.
* Maintain performance benchmarks outlined by the company, including recruitment metrics, community networking, and candidate placement follow-up.
* Act as a liaison between Acara, clients, candidates, and contract employees, representing our company's values with professionalism and integrity.
* Provide administrative oversight for contract employees and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Cultivate community relations through active engagement and community activities.
* Retain a pool of temporary/contract employees to meet client demands.
* Collaborate closely with fellow Recruitment Specialists to address client needs effectively.
* Maintain regular communication with customers to address and resolve escalated personnel matters.
* Uphold high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Job Requirements
Required:
* 1 year of experience recruiting for technical and advanced manufacturing
Preferred:
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and candidates.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
* Results-oriented mindset focusing on delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
* Proficient computer skills, with one year of prior experience using the MS Office Suite


Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Travel:

This role operates primarily in a remote work environment, utilizing technology such as laptops, video conferencing tools, cloud-based applications, and collaborative platforms. Candidates must be local to the Plattsburgh, NY area, as the position requires periodic travel to client locations to meet with hiring managers, build and maintain relationships, and better understand their recruiting and staffing needs.

The role requires regular communication with candidates, employees, clients, and hiring managers, as well as periods of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and using hands for computer and office-related tasks. The employee must also be able to travel locally to client locations as needed.
