As a Training & Capability Development Specialist for US ELSE Commercial Operations, you will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive learning strategy that supports business transformation, process adoption, and workforce development. Partnering across the organization, you will create engaging learning experiences and development programs that equip employees with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel. Success in this role will strengthen organizational capability, accelerate employee growth, and improve business outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of training and capability-building initiatives aligned with business transformation goals.
  • Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
  • Create training materials, job aids, assessments, and process documentation that support employee success.
  • Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to translate processes and systems into effective learning solutions.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and supporting documentation.
  • Establish and manage onboarding, upskilling, and role-based development programs.
  • Coordinate training schedules, communications, and learning events across the organization.
  • Maintain training content and resources within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Monitor training participation, compliance, and effectiveness using learner and business performance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development across US ELSE Services.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training, or organizational capability building.
  • Strong skills in facilitation, content development, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating professional training materials and documentation.
  • Ability to translate complex processes and systems into clear, effective learning experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing or delivering Salesforce training and knowledge of Salesforce configuration, workflows, and best practices.
  • Experience with Empower or comparable quoting, proposal, commercial workflow, or configure price-quote (CPQ) platforms.
  • Experience designing competency models, role-based learning pathways, capability frameworks, and career development structures.
  • Experience supporting commercial operations, sales operations, proposal management, order management, or contract management functions.
  • Experience with modern digital learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, or AI-assisted content development platforms.
  • Experience in business transformation, process improvement, or change management programs.
  • Knowledge of Empower, ABB systems, or industrial/electrical services industry context.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $100,500 and $160,800 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
