Join our team as a Program Director and lead a mission-driven outpatient Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program in Philadelphia, PA. This is an opportunity for a strategic and compassionate leader to drive operational excellence, develop high-performing teams, and make a lasting impact on individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. Position Overview The Program Director provides visionary leadership and oversight for Parkside Germantown, an outpatient Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program located in Philadelphia, PA. Responsible for operational, financial, compliance, and staff management functions, the Director ensures the delivery of high-quality, compassionate substance use disorder treatment services. By fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and hope, the Director empowers individuals on their recovery journey, strengthens community partnerships, and drives program excellence to create lasting positive impact in the lives of those served. Responsibilities include: Operations & Financial Management: Manage daily program operations; oversee budget development and financial performance; achieve profit and loss goals; collect and analyze program data and statistics; monitor trends and outcomes; identify opportunities for program improvement, growth, and service expansion; coordinate services across programs to improve service delivery. Compliance, Quality & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with contractual, governmental, payer, and organizational requirements; maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices; oversee quality assurance, safety, privacy, and regulatory compliance initiatives; implement corrective actions and continuous quality improvement plans. Community Relations & Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with consumers, families, community partners, referral sources, and internal stakeholders; serve as liaison to external agencies and the community; support program marketing, outreach, development, and expansion efforts; participate in fundraising and community engagement activities. Leadership & Talent Management: Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes; provide supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback; conduct performance evaluations; manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and policy compliance; address attendance, performance, and grievance issues; foster a collaborative and engaged workplace culture. Strategic Leadership: Promote organizational values and continuous improvement; empower staff participation in decision-making and innovation; develop and maintain a positive, high-performing team environment; support organizational initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned. A qualified candidate will possess the following : Master's degree in behavioral health Experience in Methadone Maintenance Treatment Programs, with management experience preferred. 1-3 years' experience in management within substance use disorder services 1 year experience working in a Methadone Maintenance Treatment program Strong ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies, while encouraging and supporting others in doing the same. Able to work onsite at our Germantown location, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and open to being on-call for emergency issues.
