The Housekeeping Department is part of the Physical Plant, Business Affairs Division of the University. This section provides special cleaning care to all classrooms, administration offices, and the University Union and the University S Work involves performance on a continuing basis of a variety of tasks in accordance with established housekeeping procedures.

The Housekeeping Zone Manager performs a variety of duties which include assisting in the direction of the department. This position supervises housekeeping functions within a major area of the campus, determining housekeeping requirements within this assigned area; and prepares work schedules and individual workloads. Duties of this position also include inspecting for cleanliness and maintenance needs, and contact with departmental heads, professors, and support staff on a daily basis.

SHIFT: 6:00 pm - 2:30 am Tues-Fri, Sat-Flex time

Minimum Training and Education at the entry level: Graduation from High School or possession of a GED, and one year of experience in the area assigned; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Valid State of North Carolina driver's license.
