MD Talent Development & Learning Strategy

Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of FedEx's global Grow program, ensuring scalable, high-impact learning experiences that support frontline, operational, and corporate employees. Act as a key partner to HR and business leaders to align learning strategies with enterprise priorities, operational excellence, and workforce capability needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee the design and delivery of comprehensive learning programs across FedEx functions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational priorities
• Partner with HR, Talent, and business leaders to identify capability gaps and define learning strategies that support workforce readiness and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs, goals, and objectives aligned with organizational learning strategies
• Provide strategic guidance and direction in designing, implementing, and administrating effective learning programs that address the specific requirements of each function, workforce type, and/or region while aligning with FedEx global standards
• Review learner program effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback loops, and data analytics, driving continuous improvement
• Serve as the escalation point for learning challenges, resolving issues in collaboration with internal, cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors
• Manage relationships with external vendors and learning partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and consistent solutions across One FedEx
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches and technologies into program design

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• Ten (10) years' experience in learning strategy, talent development, workforce capability building or related HR experience in a global organization

• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale learning programs across diverse employee populations (e.g., frontline, operational, corporate)

• Experience leading teams and managing enterprise-wide L&D initiatives

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Expertise in learning strategy, program design, and large-scale delivery within complex, global organizations

• Proven experience leading L&D initiatives in operationally intensive environments (e.g., logistics, supply chain, frontline workforce)

• Strong ability to align learning programs with business strategy and workforce capability needs

• Experience with digital learning platforms, and enterprise learning technologies

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams
