Join us for a 12-week Project Coordinator internship with the Enterprise AI Program!

The Enterprise AI Program is a cross-functional team responsible for delivering strategic artificial intelligence initiatives across IDEXX. The team partners with business leaders, IT, Legal, Human Resources, Security, and Compliance to ensure AI projects stay aligned with business objectives, governance requirements, budgets, and timelines. As the program continues to grow, we're looking for an intern to help coordinate projects, track deliverables, and support AI adoption across the organization.

In this internship role you would have opportunity to gain skillsets in the following areas...

  • Project and program coordination for enterprise-scale AI initiatives
  • Meeting facilitation and stakeholder management across technical and business teams
  • AI governance, risk, and compliance documentation processes
  • Executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations
  • Training and change management support for AI adoption programs

Day-to-day asks are likely to include:

  • Maintaining project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reporting artifacts
  • Scheduling and coordinating project and governance meetings
  • Capturing meeting notes, action items, and decisions, and following up through completion
  • Supporting governance reviews and maintaining program documentation in SharePoint and Teams
  • Helping prepare status reports, dashboards, and presentation materials
  • Assisting with coordination of AI training sessions, workshops, and communications

Ideal skills for this role include:

  • Strong communication skills, willing to speak up and reach out to different people to get things done
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) is helpful for this internship
  • Being detail-oriented with the ability to pull together all the pieces involved in the project
  • Having a keen eye for detail
  • Interest in artificial intelligence, emerging technology, or organizational change management

Requirements for the role include:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program majoring in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Communications, or a related field
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and must have completed at least one year of college
  • A track record of student success and potential as demonstrated by GPA, research portfolio, prior work experiences and/or the recommendation of a professor preferred
