Position Summary: The position of Property & Insurance Administrator provides administrative and operational support for the Property Department by coordinating insurance claims, property projects, cemetery lot administration, vendor payments, fleet and driver compliance, records management, and reporting functions. Ensures accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient department operations while serving as a liaison with families, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepares files, distributes, and maintains all documents and correspondence related to insurance claims and property projects.
- Creates and tracks ROF's for payment to contractors/vendors and distributes checks.
- Corresponds with family/cemetery regarding cemetery lots.
- Verifies cemetery lots for a family in need.
- Prepares dispositions of lots for Divisional Finance Board.
- Refers possible plot donations to the Development Department.
- Facilities the transfer of lots for Divisional Finance Board.
- Maintains and administrates Driver Qualification Program.
- Maintains and compiles Service Agreements.
- Prepares and verifies the following reports: Monthly Insurance Loss Control Report, Annual Chesterfield Qualified / Disqualified Driver Report / Insurance Certificates / Pet Deposits/Vacant Property lists/Fall and Spring building maintenance.
- Maintains DOT driver and vehicle compliance.
- Files closed property and insurance projects
- Maintains vehicle list and processes vehicle registrations and tabs and titles.
- Collects/sorts/distributes mail for the Property Department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Education/Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Two years of office or administrative experience (preferred)

Certificates and Licenses:
- Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
- Must have a current valid driver's license and pass the Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR)
