UC San Diego Health is seeking a collaborative, results-oriented Practice Supervisor to oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of our Center for Integrative Medicine (CIM) and Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) departments. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Faculty Primary Care and provides direct supervision of clinic operations staff, ensuring efficient workflows, exceptional patient service, regulatory compliance, and a positive, team-oriented work environment. Under the direction of the Associate Director, the Practice Supervisor coordinates day-to-day clinic operations, manages staff performance and development, implements process improvements, and partners with clinicians and leadership to support high-quality, patient-centered care. The role oversees key administrative and clinical support functions, including patient registration, scheduling, insurance authorizations, medical records, revenue cycle support, facilities coordination, and medical assistant operations. As required, the Practice Supervisor also collaborates with interdepartmental leaders and provides operational support. Key responsibilities include:
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $73,800 - $131,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $35.34 - $62.84 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
