CTL Engineering is hiring a Construction Project Coordinator! CTL Engineering (www.ctleng.com) is an award-winning, full-service consulting engineering firm with (15) locations across OH, IN, WV, KY, NC, SC, and VA with a rich history over our (99) years in business. We provide civil/site design and land surveying, environmental, geotechnical, construction administration & inspection, accident reconstruction, roofing/building envelope, A/V system design, troubleshooting & installation, transportation design (bridge/roadway), and specialized testing services to the construction industry. Position Summary
- The Construction Project Coordinator provides administrative, technical, and project support to Project Managers and Construction Administrators to ensure the successful planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects.
- This position coordinates project documentation, scheduling, communication, contract administration, and stakeholder interactions while maintaining project records and assisting with budget and schedule tracking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in managing construction projects from initiation through closeout.
- Coordinate communication among owners, contractors, consultants, utility companies, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and project correspondence.
- Track project schedules, milestones, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
- Maintain organized project files, records, and documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Review contractor submittals and project documentation for completeness and compliance.
- Assist with construction contract administration and document control.
- Monitor project budgets, invoices, and funding allocations.
- Coordinate field inspections and construction observations as needed.
- Prepare progress reports and update project management systems.
- Track utility coordination, permit requirements, and agency approvals.
- Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranty documentation, and final record keeping.
- Support public meetings, stakeholder outreach, and client communications when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of construction, engineering, utility, or project administration experience preferred.
- Recent graduates with internship experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of construction practices, project scheduling, and contract administration is desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Project.
- Experience with project management software is a plus.

- Public agency or consulting engineering environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally visit active construction sites.
- Ability to walk on uneven terrain and observe construction activities.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
