Looking to build real-world technology experience while contributing to meaningful work? As a Data Warehouse College Intern at Visions Federal Credit Union, you'll gain hands-on exposure to database administration, reporting, automation, and data warehouse support in a professional financial services environment.

You'll work alongside experienced team members to learn how data systems support business decisions, operational reporting, and member service across the credit union.

Compensation: $17.30 per hour

Location: Position is on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Endwell, NY, Saddle Brook, NJ or Muhlenberg, PA

College/University must be located in the Binghamton, NY , Saddle Brook, NJ or Muhlenberg, PA or surrounding areas (Spring Semester January 2027-May 2027). Must be a current College student during Spring 2027.

Schedule and Details

• This is a paid college internship opportunity.
• Internship schedules are typically arranged around academic availability and business needs.
• Students should be prepared to complete approximately 120 hours during the internship period, with final schedule details coordinated with the supervisor.

• Support SQL Server administration tasks, including query performance tuning, index management, and job monitoring.
• Assist with report modernization, data warehouse support, and automation opportunities.
• Gain experience using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, PowerShell, and related database management tools.
• Learn about database patching, server configuration, and optimization practices.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, document work, and contribute to assigned projects.

• Practical experience working with enterprise data systems and database tools.
• Exposure to how data, reporting, and automation support business operations.
• Mentorship and guidance from experienced technology professionals.
• Opportunities to develop technical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in a professional environment where your contributions support teams across the organization.

• Current college student pursuing Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Coursework or interest in databases, SQL Server, PowerShell, reporting, data management, or programming.
• Strong curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
• Ability to organize information, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate clearly.
• Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
