Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. This position will be based in our Brandon, South Dakota plant and report to the Director, HR, Fluid Power, North America. The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to plant leadership, supporting the achievement of business objectives through effective people strategies and HR programs. This role works closely with Plant Managers and HR Centers of Excellence to develop and implement workforce strategies that drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, talent development, retention, and operational success.



The HRBP provides both strategic and day-to-day HR leadership in the areas of employee relations, labor relations, workforce planning, performance management, organizational development, compensation, compliance, and change management.



Key responsibilities:



  • Partner with Plant leadership to support business objectives and workforce planning.
  • Serve as the primary HR advisor for managers and employees.
  • Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Drive performance management, employee engagement, and retention efforts.
  • Partner with COEs on compensation, benefits, talent management, and organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR processes.
  • Analyze workforce metrics and make recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Support change management and organizational design initiatives as business needs evolve.
  • Foster a positive employee experience and high-performing culture within the facility.
  • AdHoc duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 5+ years of experience Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong employee relations and labor relations experience.
  • Experience partnering directly with operations and plant leadership.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Not Bonus Eligible
  • Relocation is not provided
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
