Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Education Requirements



  • Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Technical Writing, Communications, Information Systems, Quality, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Advanced Microsoft Visio skills for creating process maps, workflow diagrams, and documentation.


Experience Requirements



  • 2+ years of experience in business process documentation, technical writing, or process improvement.
  • Experience creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, job aids, and training materials.
  • Hands-on experience developing and managing SharePoint sites, document libraries, and knowledge bases.
  • Experience recording, editing, and publishing instructional or training videos.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements through interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business leaders.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or ERP implementation experience.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems, process transformation, or system migrations.
  • Knowledge of document control, version management, and approval workflows.
  • Ability to simplify complex business processes into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to participate in meetings, interviews, training sessions, and plant walkthroughs.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and documentation requests simultaneously.
  • Occasional travel within company locations may be required.


Job Duties



  • Support the ongoing ERP transition by documenting current and future-state business processes across multiple departments.
  • Create SOPs, work instructions, process documentation, training guides, and job aids.
  • Develop process maps, swim lane diagrams, and workflow documentation using Visio.
  • Record, edit, and maintain training videos for ERP and operational processes.
  • Interview SMEs and department leaders to capture best practices and standardize procedures.
  • Build, organize, and maintain a centralized SharePoint knowledge base and SOP library.
  • Partner with Quality and Operations teams to manage document control, approvals, and version tracking.
  • Create onboarding and cross-training materials that improve employee knowledge and process consistency.
  • Support ERP stabilization efforts by documenting process changes and maintaining accurate training resources.
  • Establish standardized documentation templates and tools that improve knowledge sharing across the organization.
