Director of Growth - Savannah GA

F3EA, Inc.
United States
Sep 23, 2026
Primary Mission:

The Director of Growth owns the complete opportunity lifecycle for F3EA and supports coordinated growth for Mission Hardware, a separate company under common ownership. The role converts relationships, mission credibility, and customer needs identified through Special Projects Cell training events, current programs, past performance, referrals, and partner networks into qualified and executable business opportunities.

This is not a traditional business development position centered on broad cold outreach or conference attendance. Success depends on staying close to delivery, recognizing demand signals, protecting trusted relationships, and applying disciplined follow-through. The Director of Growth is accountable for each opportunity from initial identification and qualification through capture, proposal, submission, award, transition, and post-award record completion.

The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of the federal marketplace, Special Operations mission sets, and government acquisition processes, paired with a proactive ability to convert engagement, forecasting, and market intelligence into long-term strategic wins that align with F3EA's mission, values, and growth trajectory.

Roles and Responsibilities Relationship Driven Opportunity Development
  • Build a repeatable growth process around relationships and demand signals created through Special Projects Cell training events, active F3EA programs, former customers, employee and contractor networks, referrals, and strategic partners.
  • Maintain close coordination with Special Projects Cell leaders, program managers, instructors, operators, and customer-facing personnel to capture emerging requirements, capability gaps, follow-on needs, and warm introductions.
  • Engage customers and partners with operational credibility, discretion, and a solutions-oriented approach that protects F3EA's reputation and existing relationships.
  • Convert informal discussions and field observations into documented, qualified opportunities with a defined customer need, acquisition path, value, timeline, next action, and responsible owner.
  • Use targeted market research, customer engagement, and industry participation when they directly support a validated relationship or opportunity.
Opportunity Lifecycle Ownership
  • Own every assigned opportunity from identification through qualification, capture, bid or no bid decision, proposal development, submission, award or loss, transition to execution, lessons learned, and administrative closeout.
  • Establish and enforce stage gates, decision criteria, action plans, schedules, and accountability for the opportunity pipeline.
  • Lead opportunity qualification by assessing customer access, mission fit, acquisition strategy, competitive position, contract vehicle, partner requirements, delivery feasibility, financial value, risk, and probability of win.
  • Develop capture strategies, customer and competitor assessments, teaming approaches, win themes, solution concepts, and resourcing plans proportionate to the size and complexity of each opportunity.
  • Coordinate proposal efforts across operations, PMO, Contracts, Finance, HR, Recruiting, Security, IT, Logistics, and executive leadership; maintain the calendar, assignments, reviews, approvals, and final submission package.
  • Ensure awarded work is formally transitioned to the responsible execution team with the scope, assumptions, commitments, staffing plan, pricing basis, risks, and customer expectations clearly documented.
  • Conduct and document win or loss reviews, capture lessons learned, and close the opportunity record only after required artifacts and follow-up actions are complete.
Unanet Pipeline Management and Executive Reporting
  • Use Unanet as the primary operating system and authoritative source for all F3EA and Mission Hardware opportunities, maintaining complete, current, and decision-ready records.
  • Build and maintain standardized opportunity stages, required fields, naming conventions, gate criteria, probabilities, values, acquisition dates, next actions, contacts, partner data, and supporting documentation within Unanet.
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy through recurring reviews, aging checks, action tracking, and timely updates after customer or partner engagements.
  • Prepare concise pipeline reviews and executive dashboards that show opportunity status, value, probability, timing, risks, decisions required, resource demands, and changes since the prior review.
  • Develop practical procedures, templates, and training so opportunity contributors use Unanet consistently and leadership can rely on the data for investment and staffing decisions.
F3EA and Mission Hardware Growth Integration
  • Develop coordinated growth plans that recognize where F3EA's training, mission support, and program execution capabilities can create demand for Mission Hardware products or solutions, and where Mission Hardware capabilities can strengthen F3EA solutions.
  • Evaluate each opportunity for the appropriate company, contracting path, customer value, and potential joint solution while preserving the legal, financial, contractual, and brand separation between F3EA and Mission Hardware.
  • Maintain distinct opportunity records, documentation, approvals, pricing inputs, representations, and commitments for each company while providing the owner and executive leadership a consolidated view of growth activity.
  • Coordinate demonstrations, prototypes, technical inputs, customer feedback, and partner engagements that support validated opportunities for either company.
  • Prevent conflicts, duplicate outreach, and unclear ownership by documenting account, opportunity, and action ownership in Unanet and resolving overlaps with executive leadership.
Past Performance and Growth Knowledge Management
  • Build, organize, and maintain a SharePoint-based past performance repository that serves as the authoritative source for proposal and capture teams.
  • Create a standard record for each relevant contract, task order, project, exercise, product delivery, and prototype effort, including customer, period of performance, contract vehicle, value, scope, locations, team, subcontracting role, mission outcomes, measurable results, references, and releasability restrictions.
  • Maintain reusable capability descriptions, approved resumes, project summaries, customer references, contract data, and supporting artifacts with clear ownership, version control, metadata, permissions, and review dates.
  • Ensure proprietary, controlled, classified, export-controlled, and customer-sensitive information is handled and shared only in accordance with company policy and applicable requirements.
  • Use the repository to rapidly identify relevant experience and produce accurate, consistent past performance content for RFIs, sources sought notices, proposals, capability briefs, and partner requests.
Leadership and Internal Integration
  • Serve as the CEO's principal owner for pipeline discipline, opportunity strategy, and growth execution across F3EA and Mission Hardware.
  • Run recurring opportunity reviews and elevate decisions early when an opportunity requires executive access, investment, teaming, pricing flexibility, staffing, or operational commitment.
  • Partner with program and functional leaders to validate that proposed solutions are executable, compliant, appropriately resourced, and aligned with company priorities before commitments are made.
  • Create a culture in which customer relationships, field observations, and program performance are captured and converted into deliberate growth actions without disrupting delivery.
  • Protect the credibility of both companies by ensuring external statements, commitments, and submissions are accurate, coordinated, approved, and supportable.
Measures of Success
  • All active opportunities are entered in Unanet, assigned an owner and next action, and maintained within established data-quality standards.
  • Pipeline forecasts are timely, traceable, and reliable enough to support leadership decisions on investment, staffing, teaming, and pursuit priority.
  • Warm leads generated through Special Projects Cell events, active programs, referrals, and partner relationships are captured, qualified, and acted on without avoidable delay.
  • Opportunity stage gates, bid decisions, submissions, award transitions, and win or loss reviews are completed and documented consistently.
  • The SharePoint past performance repository is current, searchable, permissioned, and routinely used to support captures and proposals.
  • Growth efforts for F3EA and Mission Hardware are coordinated while company boundaries, approvals, records, and commitments remain clear.
