Psychiatry Services of New York, part of Optum Behavioral Care, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive outpatient mental health care for a diverse patient population. This role offers the opportunity to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions while collaborating within a supportive behavioral health organization that provides extensive operational and clinical support. Position Highlights Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans Provide individual and group psychotherapy services Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Maintain accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance Support patient growth initiatives through provider profile and outreach efforts Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in New York Board Certified PMHNP-BC by ANCC or eligible for certification Active DEA registration Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of mental health conditions
