Responsibilities:

We are seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse RN to join our Intensive Care Unit ICU team. In this role, you will do more than manage complex clinical tasks-you will serve as a pillar of comfort and human connection for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments. If you naturally combine high-level clinical expertise with deep empathy, we want to hear from you.

*Patient Monitoring: Continuously assess and monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.

*Medication Administration: Deliver medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and sedation.

*Emergency Response: Act swiftly in life-saving situations such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, or shock.

*Diagnostic Support: Assist with and interpret diagnostic tests like blood work, imaging, and EKGs.

*Medical Equipment Operation: Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care devices.

*Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.

*Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

*Family Support: Provide emotional support and education to patients' families about conditions and treatments.

*Infection Control: Follow strict protocols to prevent the spread of infection in the ICU environment.

Qualifications:

* Associate Degree in Nursing

* State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License

* BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire

* 1 year of Telemetry and RN experience highly Preferred

* CCRN preferred
