Director Support Services

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Director of Support Services provides strategic and operational leadership for a broad portfolio of non-clinical support service functions across Porter Medical Center (PMC) and Elizabethtown Community Hospital (ECH), including the Ticonderoga campus. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated service strategies that drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee engagement, and an exceptional experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

At PMC, the Director has direct oversight of Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Laundry and Linen Services, Emergency Management and Security. At ECH, the Director oversees Safety, Security, Nutrition, Environmental Services, and Emergency Management. Through collaboration with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders, the Director ensures the effective delivery of high-quality support services that align with organizational goals and community needs.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Seven years of progressive leadership experience and five years overseeing multiple departments. Multi-site healthcare operations experience preferred. Multi-site healthcare operations experience preferred.
