Our client is seeking a Technical Drafter for their Sugar Land, TX office. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of AutoCAD drafter experience; electrical experience is highly desired. This role is a 6-month contract assignment with a strong possibility of extension. RESPONSIBILITIES Engineering Drawings Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to create engineering drawings for the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions. Layout drawings and Isometric drawings. Operational Compliance Follow a range of mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct. Data Collection and Analysis Perform basic data entry tasks. Information (Data Specifications) Respond to basic queries from engineering or suppliers by providing information, referring more complex issues to others. SKILLS AutoCAD, DraftSight, and SolidWorks are a plus but not required.
