Summary:

The Litigation Administrator will be responsible for managing the litigation docket, which includes class actions, commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, product liability cases, small claims cases, and agency/administrative matters. This role will ensure that the Litigation team is hitting all the marks in its defense of the brand. The role is based out of Plano, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the litigation case docket, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of all litigation proceedings, including class actions, product liability, commercial litigation, and small claims cases in federal and state court.
• Assist in monitoring and updating case progress, ensuring all tasks are completed within required timelines.
• Perform timely data entry and maintain organized records of case-related documents and information.
• Support responses to elevated consumer complaints.
• Manage outside counsel administrative matters.
• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff to ensure seamless case management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to litigation processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all litigation-related activities for auditing and reporting purposes.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree. Focus on law, business administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest in law is a plus, but not required.
• Submission of a writing sample.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, including when handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Possess strong attention to detail, but also the ability to identify critical aspects of a task or project, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness, while efficiently filtering out unnecessary information.
• Communicate effectively and concisely orally and in writing.
• Ability to pivot from working independently to being part of a fast-paced team.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote.
• Basic understanding of litigation process and/or legal terms is a plus, but not required.
