We are looking for an outstanding Staff Systems Architect who will serve as a critical technical leader within our CRM Systems Team. In this role, you will be responsible for modernizing our CRM and commercial data infrastructure, which is foundational to streamlining quoting workflows, automating manual processes, and enabling self-service tooling. You will play a vital role in sustaining current business operations while driving the execution of major upcoming commercial initiatives and supporting our evolving business models.

You will foster a deep partnership and highly productive relationship between PE (Productivity Engineering) and commercial business teams, working on a portfolio of PE projects and services with a focus on 10x's global Sales, Customer Support, and E-Commerce business processes. By translating complex business needs into scalable technical solutions, you will ensure frictionless workflows for our stakeholders and guarantee the stability and scalability of our existing Salesforce environment.

• Modernize CRM Architecture: Provide technical oversight to modernize our CRM and commercial data infrastructure, delivering the complex backend architecture required to support new commercial programs, evolving business models, and future tiered service offerings.

• Accelerate Revenue Velocity: Streamline Account, Opportunity, and Quote workflows while rationalizing pricebook management to reduce quoting friction for Sales and enable scalable pricing practices.

• Drive Process Automation: Establish Salesforce as the single definitive source of truth by automating manual processes across the sales and customer success lifecycle, eliminating bottlenecks between Sales and Customer Success.

• Leverage AI Technologies: Explore and integrate AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions within our CRM ecosystem to enhance sales productivity, streamline customer support workflows, and unlock advanced data insights.

• Empower Stakeholders via Self-Service: Build and deliver robust self-service tooling that allows Support and Platform PM teams to handle routine tasks independently, returning engineering bandwidth to strategic initiatives.

• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and PE leadership to align IT solutions with major strategic goals, including business scaling and customer onboarding.

• System Administration & Support: Ensure that production support for the CRM track meets SLA expectations, responding to issues and incidents while providing day-to-day administration and support of key systems like Salesforce, Marketo, etc.

• Project Leadership: Lead projects from inception through delivery, functioning as a business partner to model, design, and build solutions that improve 10x's CRM processes.

• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or information systems.

• 10 years of experience in system architecture, analysis, design, and development of complex CRM solutions.

• 7 years of technical experience and project management in a fast-growing, technology organization, with deep exposure to cloud-based (SaaS) business models.

• Hands-on experience and architectural knowledge of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud, CPQ, and Marketo.

• Familiarity with modern AI capabilities and Large Language Models (LLMs), including practical experience or strong conceptual understanding of how to apply them to CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, generative AI for support).

• Deep understanding of key sales and support business processes (Lead-to-Order, Quote-to-Contract, Campaign-to-cash, CPQ, etc.).

• Proven track record in process automation, self-service tooling creation, and rationalizing complex quoting/pricebook workflows.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical/critical thinking skills needed, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.

• An excellent communicator with exceptional active listening skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

• An obsession over performance, user experience, efficiency, and infrastructure scalability.

• RPA deployment experience.

• Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect, AI Associate).

Below is the base pay range for this full-time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
