The Role:

The Systems Channel Operations Analyst supports AMD's Americas Systems Channel business by providing the operational insights, reporting, and business processes that help drive growth through distributors, value-added resellers, solution providers, and other channel partners selling AMD-powered client and server platforms.

This role serves as the operational advisor to the Americas Systems Channel sales leader, helping transform channel data into actionable insights. The analyst will monitor sell-thru and sell-out trends, track inventory and market signals, support business planning, incentive plan (SIP) discussions, and forecast reviews, and deliver reporting that enables informed decision-making across the channel ecosystem.

The Person:

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment and a working knowledge of channel-based business models, and is comfortable moving between detailed data work and the broader business picture to help the sales leader anticipate what's next.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Analytics & Insights

• Analyze sell-thru, sell-out, inventory, and partner performance data across the Americas region.
• Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities within the systems channel business.
• Evaluate forecast assumptions using pipeline, inventory, sell-thru, historical performance, and partner inputs.
• Develop recurring business insights and recommendations for channel leadership.
• Support quarterly and annual business planning activities.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

• Leverage dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools maintained by AMD's global reporting team to monitor channel performance.
• Interpret sell-thru (POS), inventory, and partner data captured to give the sales leader a consistent view of business performance.
• Deliver concise, decision-oriented insights for forecast reviews, quarterly business reviews, and other executive forums.

Distributor & Partner Operations

• Monitor channel inventory positions, weeks of supply, and product movement.
• Support operational reviews with distributors and strategic channel partners.
• Assist with channel readiness and execution for new product and program introductions and transitions.
• Help identify operational bottlenecks impacting market coverage or partner execution.

Business Planning & Execution

• Serve as the day-to-day operational advisor to the Americas Systems Channel sales leader, providing the insight and follow-through that supports their decisions and priorities.
• Support partner planning activities.
• Support Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) discussions and related planning activities alongside the sales leader.
• Track strategic initiatives and action plans across the Systems Channel business, translating business reviews into clear actions and accountable follow-through.
• Drive operational process improvements that improve visibility, efficiency, and scalability.

Continuous Improvement

• Provide feedback to global reporting teams to improve the accuracy and usefulness of standard dashboards for the Americas Systems Channel business.
• Document best practices and operating procedures.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and insight generation.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in channel operations, business operations, sales operations, analytics, or commercial operations.
• Experience supporting a channel-based business involving distributors, resellers, systems integrators, or similar partners.
• Strong understanding of channel economics and performance indicators, including sell-in, sell-thru, inventory, pipeline, and end-customer demand.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly to sales leadership.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple recurring deliverables in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

• Experience supporting technology, PC, server, or semiconductor businesses.
• Direct experience supporting distributors and value-added resellers in the Americas.
• Understanding of the commercial relationships among technology providers, distributors, resellers, and end customers.
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL or other scripting tools for data manipulation.
