Location: Lake County, IL - Hybrid Required - M/F Remote - T/W/TH Onsite

What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position:

1. Technology Business Analysis: strong requirements gathering, process mapping, current/future-state design, workflow analysis, and translating business needs into technical requirements. Must be able to work effectively between business teams, HRIT/developers, & technology vendors

2. Complex Technology Project Management: Proven ability to independently lead enterprise technology/transformation projects from discovery through implementation. Must manage dependencies, risks, vendors, UAT/testing, implementation readiness, and stabilization, not just project plans and status meetings.

3. Data analysis & problem solving: advanced Excel and demonstrated ability to analyze large operational datasets, identify trends/anomalies, conduct root-cause analysis, and turn findings into recommendations. Power BI or similar visualization experience strongly preferred.

4. HT Technology/Enterprise Systems Experience: Experience working with complex enterprise technology ecosystems and system integrations. HR Technology experience strongly preferred: ServiceNow HRSD, Workday, ATS/CRM, workflow automation, AI, or similar platforms are particularly valuable.

5. Autonomous, Ambiguous Problem solving: Must be able to take an undefined business problem, structure the work, determine what data/information is needed, investigate root causes, develop options, recommend a solution, and drive execution with limited direction.

TA Technology & Transformation Project Lead

Role purpose

Lead complex Talent Acquisition Operations technology and transformation initiatives by combining project management, business analysis, data analytics and technology solution design. Translate operational challenges into actionable requirements, manage cross-functional implementation, analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for automation, simplification and measurable business value.

Core responsibilities

• Lead complex cross-functional TA Operations technology and transformation projects from discovery through implementation and stabilization.
• Translate business and operational challenges into documented business, process, data and technology requirements.
• Conduct current-state and future-state process analysis and identify opportunities for simplification, automation and improved controls.
• Analyze operational and technology data to identify trends, root causes, capacity constraints, process gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, analytical reporting and executive-ready insights across TA Operations.
• Partner with HRIT, vendors and TA stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions across ServiceNow, Workday, First Advantage, SmartRecruiters, Phenom and emerging AI technologies.
• Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, testing/UAT, implementation readiness and post-launch stabilization.
• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions and cross-functional stakeholder accountability.
• Support candidate fraud and risk technology initiatives, including identity verification, fraud detection, AI-enabled document review and emerging risk solutions.
• Develop baseline measures, success metrics and post-implementation measurement to quantify capacity, efficiency, quality, risk reduction and business value.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for workflow automation and AI enablement.
• Develop executive-level project updates, recommendations and decision materials.

Must have: strong project/program management + business analysis + HR technology/process transformation + advanced Excel/data analysis + requirements gathering + process mapping + executive communication.

Highly desirable: ServiceNow/HRSD, Workday, Power BI, AI/automation experience, vendor implementations, API/integration concepts, UAT/testing and HR/TA domain experience.
